“Bringing the Outside In”
Set within the Grade I listed Fulham Palace, Vizage Clinic is a celebration of balance — between heritage and innovation, nature and science, architecture and wellbeing. The design concept embraces the surrounding parkland, translating its calm and organic beauty into every interior element.

Design Challenge

Respecting the historic fabric of Fulham Palace while creating a state-of-the-art aesthetic and skin clinic was both a privilege and a challenge. Every design decision was guided by the principles of preservation, sustainability, and sensory comfort.

Material Palette

A tactile and sustainable selection of materials was chosen to evoke nature’s warmth while meeting the highest clinical and CQC standards.

• Cork flooring and wallpaper – naturally antibacterial, sound-absorbing, and warm underfoot.

• Walnut wood joinery – rich tones offering timeless sophistication and grounding warmth.

• Natural linoleum flooring – a sustainable, resilient choice for treatment areas.

• Velvet drapery and wallpaper – in the waiting room, deep textures and rich hues create a cocooning, private club ambience.

  From the moment guests enter, they are enveloped in a multisensory experience.
  A bespoke Vizage fragrance—subtle, clean, and botanical—guides visitors throughout the space, evoking both nature and luxury.
  Soft lighting, organic textures, and natural finishes combine to create a tranquil environment that enhances wellbeing.

  • Owner’s Therapy Room
    Located in a former church space, this room benefits from double-height ceilings and abundant natural light, creating a serene, almost spiritual environment for therapy.

    Every material and system supports both environmental responsibility and human health — from low-VOC finishes to natural insulation. The clinic’s interiors not only meet but exceed the standards required for CQC certification, ensuring clinical excellence with a spa-like sense of care.
